Flavour Burst Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 50 grams fresh raspberries
  • 30 grams fresh blueberries
  • 2 tsp runny honey
  • 150 mls fat-free natural bio yoghurt
  • 20 grams vanilla whey protein powder
  • 20 grams muesli

Per serving: 299 calories; 42g carbohydrates; 27g protein; 4g fat; 5.5g fibre

Instructions:

  1. Put aside 2 raspberries and 3 blueberries; put the remaining berries in a microwaveable dish with the honey and 1 tablespoon of water and cook on medium -high for 1 minute or until the juices begin to run. Stir well.
  2. Combine the yoghurt with the protein powder.
  3. Spoon half of the yoghurt mix into a serving bowl or suitable glass, then spoon in half the berry mix and a little muesli.
  4. Repeat the layer and top with the reserved berries.

Chef’s suggestions:

  • You can use other berries (e.g. strawberries and blackcurrants) if you prefer.
  • For gluten-free, replace the muesli with a gluten-free variety of muesli.
  • For dairy-free, replace the bio yoghurt with soy yoghurt and use soy protein powder instead of whey protein powder.
