She is an advocate for supporting clients to create healthy lifestyle habits that they can enjoy and sustain long-term to improve wellbeing, irrespective of weight loss. She’ll share how the goal of weight loss can perpetuate weight bias and stigmatisation, which have the potential to hinder people’s adoption of healthy lifestyle behaviours. She’ll discuss how to avoid weight stigmatisation by taking a non-diet and weight-neutral approach, and explore whether intuitive and mindful eating can be effective tools to support people in forming a healthy relationship with food.

Tansy Boggon is an author, university-qualified nutritionist, trained wellness coach, and food and nutrition writer with a passion for helping people free themselves of the restriction and deprivation of diets to embrace self-acceptance and self-care.
